Hey. Someone there?
“Anything up with Nico yet?”
“Why the sad face? What happened?”
“Nothing.”
“You are not nothing, Lia.”

“Anything up with Nico yet?”

“Nothing.”
“You are not nothing, Lia.”

“Nice to meet you.”

“Lia. Nice to meet you.”

“Anything up with Nico yet?”
“Why the sad face? What happened?”
“Nothing.”

“Lia.”
“Annabeth.”
“How have you been?”
“Good I guess.”

“No, just, forget it. Forget I said anything about my family.” He turned away. “You need to get back to camp.” Nico said, changing the subject. “Are you going to take a cab there or what?”
“Yeah I guess.” She said peaking glances at him. She starting hurting again. Don’t look away please. She thought desperately. “I have money.” She pierced her lips. “I guess I should…go find a cab now…” She waved at Nico and started walking towards the open road.
“You know, there’s always a better way of getting home than a dumb cab.” He said. “Trust me, it’s quicker, and it’s a lot easier. And on top of that, it’s free.” Nico looked at her almost wistfully.
He paused and stared at Nico. She frowned. “There’s nothing free in life, Nico. Everything has a price.” She looked to meet his eyes. The looked almost wanting but calm. She smiled and chuckled. “Fine. If you say so.” She said walking a few feet back to him. “But how?”
